While building support in Western capitals is essential, ZIA Network is found wherever the future of Zimbabwe could be affected. ZIA has a network of chapters that inform Zimbabwean activists around the globe how they can affect Zimbabwe's future and secure strong ties with other nations.

Throughout the year, we sponsor exciting events featuring leading policymakers and top analysts. ZIA Network also seeks to work on college campuses, recruiting and teaching student activists how they can mobilize support for rebuilding Zimbabwe. In this regard, ZIA Network also recruits students interested in the African experience to intern in our offices in Zimbabwe.

The core of our mission is building a base of citizen advocates who team with our expert staff to educate opinion leaders. We also engage in many important initiatives to ensure that whatever the future holds, ZIA Network will be positioned to effectively promote sound and prudent policies for the good of Zimbabwe.

Why ZIA Network?

Since Zimbabwe’s independence in 1980 and close to three decades later, its foreign policy has been shaped by a tiny few. Following an era of disaster and human catastrophe, people of Zimbabwean descent have come together to help shape and control the destiny of their country, by influencing policies that affect their future.

Our Mission

Our mission is to mobilize resources to respond to political and humanitarian catastrophes the people of Zimbabwe have endured in recent years. We aim to influence public policy in and about Zimbabwe through targeting elected officials, government agencies, policy-makers and opinion leaders. We seek to inspire and educate current and future generations to engage and get involved in rebuilding their country and secure democratic values. We will promote, protect and defend the rights of Zimbabweans wherever they may be. The man-made disaster in Zimbabwe is too huge to ignore. ZIA Network provides citizens and friends of Zimbabwe with a platform for intervention regardless of scale.
