Harare failing to meet daily water treatment chemical requirements

Following the collapse of the Zimbabwe National Water Authority's sewer treatment system, raw sewage has been flowing into the major source of raw water for the city, Lake Chivero, making the quality of raw water supplied to Harare very poor and difficult to treat, even using conventional chemicals.
